The United Activities Unlimited (UAU) "Fatherhood Matters" program is a supportive resource designed to uplift and educate both custodial and non-custodial fathers, with a focus on fostering healthy parent-child relationships, promoting self-care, and modeling responsibility. Through a 10-week, father-specific workshop series, Fatherhood Matters provides participants with a knowledge- and skills-based certificate program focused on effective parenting practices. Our dedicated Fatherhood Matters team supports fathers in achieving their individual goals while providing guidance throughout their journey. Whether assisting dads in navigating child support or public benefits, identifying training opportunities for sustainable employment, or arranging child visitation, Fatherhood Matters is committed to helping fathers set and reach their goals. Finally, our program offers continued support and partnership to alumni who have completed services and wish to “pay it forward” by supporting new fathers in need. Fatherhood Matters aims to foster a deeper understanding of the importance of a father’s role and to empower dads to take an active, positive role in the lives of their children.

We believe that when fathers are actively engaged, informed, and supported, families thrive. Through our workshops, events, and mentorship programs, we provide valuable guidance on parenting, relationship building, and co-parenting strategies. Our goal is to help fathers grow into their best selves creating a positive impact on their children’s future, strengthening family bonds, and fostering a happier, healthier community.
